Experiencing the nature of Nurra on horseback is a unique way to discover the authentic beauty of the territory. The excursions offered by the Tre Stelle Sa Mandra equestrian center, located along the road leading to Porto Ferro beach and just steps from Porto Conte Park, provide an immersive experience suitable for both experienced riders and those approaching the world of horseback riding for the first time.
The center, managed by Michele Murrocu, houses 18 horses, predominantly Anglo-Arab Sardinians, trained for equestrian tourism and ideal for accompanying guests along panoramic routes, coastal trails, and beach stretches. Before each departure, a brief introductory lesson with horse trial is conducted to ensure safety, familiarity with the equipment, and a calm approach to the excursion.
You can choose between two routes: an approximately one-hour itinerary that crosses trails with views of the Porto Ferro gulf up to the Aragonese tower, or an approximately two-hour itinerary that also includes passage along the beach and a visit to the White Tower.
Both experiences are available twice daily, at dawn and sunset, to offer unforgettable views and direct contact with Sardinia’s most authentic nature.
